The Bakers Vaults is situated in the Market Place area of Stockport, directly opposite the Indoor Market.
The Market Place has recently been pedestrianised. You can get to the Bakers from behind ASDA and up Park St.
The council have kindly put double yellows around this area rather than singles because they view town centre pubs as a pain in the arse and have taken The Specials 'Ghostown' as an anthem, rather than a protest.
Anyway, this means once you have unloaded, in the evenings you can park on the single yellows on Park St, Millgate or The Alley (opporsite The Bulls Head).
Alternatively, also in the evening and on sundays you can park on Churchgate car park for nowt.
