Info for Artistes and Bands

If I haven’t contacted you it means I am grateful for your interest but you are not right for the venue at this time. This could mean we have a number of bands that cover this material or simply not the kind of thing that we are after.

Info for Promoters
We do from time to time use outside promoters for events. We are keen to establish links creative organisations and individuals for live music, clubnights, themed nights, mini festivals, outdoor events. Please email me (Yvonne).

Tecspec in a Nutshell
We have PA and mics. Please Please e-mail in advance for details.

Lighting - we have 5 x 1/2K fresnels and a flashy colourful one that makes you look good.

Stage area 4m x 3m. We used raised stage for certain events and by prior arrangement (at a small cost)

Band Fees
We put on live music 4/5 nights a week. We are a small venue with capacity of 120 and do not charge on the door on most nights. Overheads are very high, profits small. We have been around for quite a while because we simply cant pay bands too much and we don’t want to join the scores of other places that stick a few bands on and then shut after 6 months. I know this seems a little mean but its realistic and its why we’re still here. Please consider this when putting your (already to low for what you do) quote in.

Sound Check
We need the sound check over by 8.30 at the latest, please adjust your arrival time accordingly. As we are still open to the public while you are setting up, please keep the sound check condensed and productive.
